Great links! thanks. And hang in there regarding the query letter. It’s my nemesis, but it is SOOOOOO cool when it finally works.
Thanks Lisa! Will keep working on it 🙂
Thanks for the link, Angela! And OMG, love the two pictures – mashups of Star Wars and Scottish and of Firefly and D&D. Awesome!
Good luck on your query. I still haven’t gotten mine right–It’s my nemesis. 🙁
Aren’t they a riot?
On your query, what stage are you in?
Is “bang head against keyboard” a stage? 🙂
I’ve queried on and off for over a year and a half. My actual manuscript has done well in contests, so I know it’s “close,” but I get nothing off my querying. Kind of a clue my query sucks, eh? 🙂
In other words, if you want to beta-read/exchange queries with me to get feedback, let me know. 😉
I would love to! I’ll send you my latest to your email addy and then you can respond with yours…
Thanks for the link to Writers in the storm –
AND now that I’ve visited, I’m going to spend an hour on these links instead of my WIP – I just know it…
Thank you for your link to Pop Culture Monster, Angela! 🙂
Great mashup!
