Welcome to #SixSunday! And Happy New Year!

Today’s Six Sunday I’m continuing with my new release, BEER AND GROPING IN LAS VEGAS now available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and ARe!!

This is in the heroine’s POV and they’ve now moved up to her hotel suite. We’re picking up several sentences from where we left off last week. He came back from getting bottles of beer and hovered behind her, and she leaned against him:

His fingers lightly brushed her now-hard nipple then gave it a gentle pinch through her shirt. She couldn’t help it, she moaned. His other arm wrapped around and held her tighter, pressing the cold beer bottles against her belly. She jolted and slumped against him, shaking from the cool sensation. He groaned again, gently nibbling her earlobe and lowering the closest bottle, stroking it against her core.

Oh God, she was going to combust right there on the spot–Yep.

I’m also available for guest posts, so if any of you have slots available on your blog for hosting me, I’d love to be a guest :) Just shoot me an email at angela [at] angelaquarles [dot] com

Also, I’m competing in the preditors & editors poll in the romance short story category, so if you don’t already have a favorite, I’d love your vote!

Welcome to #SixSunday! I’m going to be traveling today, so I probably won’t get to everyone until tonight. But regardless, I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday!

Today’s Six Sunday I’m continuing with my upcoming release, BEER AND GROPING IN LAS VEGAS is now out!!

This is in the heroine’s POV and they’ve now moved up to her hotel suite. We’re picking up exactly where we left off last week. He came back from getting bottles of beer and hovered behind her:

His warm breath sighed in her ear. “God, you look so beautiful.”

He leaned onto the railing, his strong arms framing her, the glass bottles in his hands dinging against the metal. He nuzzled her neck, his nose pushing her hair aside, fresh shivers zinging over her. His lips grazed the sensitive skin behind her ear, the only point of contact between them.

The heat and tension bloomed in the space between their bodies, acting like a magnetic force.

I’m also available for guest posts, so if any of you have slots available on your blog for hosting me, I’d love to be a guest :) Just shoot me an email at angela [at] angelaquarles [dot] com

Secret Santa Blog Hop

tabiysnocturnanightsWelcome to my stop on the Secret Santa Blog Hop! We have lots of fabulous prizes for you, with several chances to win. I thought I’d share a true Christmas story from my life.

Have You Ever Been Desperate for a Christmas Tree?

We are notorious procrastinators in my family and we’ve been known to wait until the last minute to get a tree for Christmas. One year in particular was quite interesting. My parents were living in Brooklyn at the time (they moved up there from Florida–we also do everything backwards) and my brother and I arrived Christmas Eve I think. Anyway, it was pretty dang late to be getting a tree. We set out from their brownstone in Greenpoint and couldn’t find a single lot still selling trees. And remember, this is Brooklyn, so we were walking and I’m sure it was cold too!

We’d quite despaired of finding a tree until we were walking back home and, I kid you not, found one in a dumpster! We looked up and down the street and rustled that sucker out of the bin! It wasn’t in too bad shape, and still had some tinsel clinging to it–we figured someone had left to go out of town and disposed of it before they left.

We took our Charlie Brown tree home, put the squished side against the wall, and decorated it. It was beautiful! You couldn’t tell it had been in a dumpster… I swear!

Now, onto the prizes!

From me, you could win a PDF copy of my upcoming release BEER AND GROPING IN LAS VEGAS. You have three ways to get more entries. One for following my blog. One for leaving a comment and another for answering the question at the end.

She agrees to dinner, but afterward, she’ll say thanks, but no thanks, and see what’s on the SyFy channel. But when they meet, they’re surprised to find they had a shared connection in their past. Welcome to #SixSunday!

Today’s Six Sunday I’m continuing with my upcoming release, BEER AND GROPING IN LAS VEGAS due out this Wednesday!! In fact you can now pre-order it from the publisher! (Doing the happy dance!)

I also got my first book blogger review, from Angie J at Twinsie Talk Book Reviews, which garnered this awesome quote:

Ok so this book is sooo fun. It is a quick 46 page ecopy book but it is filled with sarcasm, wit, sexiness and a lot of humor…The sexual tension in the story is great. I was laughing in the beginning and then saying “Hawt” towards the middle. When they finally *cough cough* well you know, it was gooood reading

This is in the heroine’s POV and they’ve now moved up to her hotel suite. He’s left her on the balcony for a moment to get them more beers:

She soaked in the city’s multicolored lights, let the crisp night air wash over her, and reveled in being in this moment and feeling it. Lord, how numb she’d let herself become. Like a ghost limb that had fallen asleep and suddenly tingled with awareness.

The sound of the French doors closing and his footsteps signaled this moment’s next phase. She smiled. Anticipating his body beside hers again, a thrill shot up her spine when his hard, masculine presence hovered behind her instead.

I’m also kicking off a blog tour tomorrow, so if any of you have slots available on your blog for hosting me, I’d love to be a guest :) Just shoot me an email at angela [at] angelaquarles [dot] com
